New cell phones are coming out all the time from the different phone manufacturers and carriers. Once you buy a brand new state of the art cell phone you find that a newer, better model comes out a month or two later. One thing people do is to give their used Verizon cell phones to their kids when they get a new model. This is one way of making a cell phone last a little longer and getting more for your money.
